A garden can be anything if you stretch your imagination enough. It can be a sanctuary, a spectacle, a family space, an extension of your personality, a wildlife haven, or even an outdoor cinema. It shouldn't be limited by conformity or tradition. Outer Spaces Design has been creating outstanding private and public gardens since 2008 in and around Hampshire. Specialists in making the unimaginable imaginable, we aim to help our clients see gardens beyond basic lawns and borders.
Outer Spaces Design's philosophy is to help transform a space into something that not only meets client’s needs, but also opens them up to new ideas and innovations. We use a variety of materials to heighten the experience of a garden and create an area not only of beauty, but of form and functionality.
Although we work in a very traditional way, we like to create something different. Something exciting. Something that isn't seen in adjacent gardens. Something that makes your garden stand out. Something that fits your needs yet wows you every time that you see it. Something that makes you excited to show guests.
We are also heavily influenced by architecture, natural design, new materials and sculptures. We like to work with artists and craftsmen and aim to incorporate a spectacular feature wherever possible.
Our process works all the way from an initial inquiry, a site and client visit and draft ideas, all of the way to final designs and completion. We have no ties to landscapers so can help you choose a company that meets the needs of the garden and the client.
